PUBLIC NOTICE
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Borough of New Freedom will hold a public hearing for the purpose of taking public comment, at 6:15pm on Monday October 20, 2025 at the Borough Office, at 49 East High Street, New Freedom, Pennsylvania, after which hearing the Council will hold their regularly scheduled meeting and consider for adoption an Ordinance entitled “AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF NEW FREEDOM, YORK COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING ARTICLES OF CHAPTER 225 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH OF NEW FREEDOM, ENTITLED, “ZONING” TO ALLOW FOR SOLAR ENERGY FACILITY DECOMMISSIONING BOND REQUIREMENTS. ” Copies of the proposed ordinance are available for inspection at the Borough Office, Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.
