2022 New Freedom Borough Budget
Notice is hereby given that the proposed 2022 budget for the Borough of New Freedom is available for inspection from today’s date until December 13, 2021. Borough Council will consider passage of the 2022 Budget and a Tax Levy Resolution, imposing a 1.85 mill General Real Estate Tax and a .28 mill Fire Tax for the fiscal year of 2022 at the Borough Council meeting on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. at the Borough Office located at 49 East High Street, New Freedom, PA 17349. The budget and copies of the proposed resolution are available for review and inspection at the Borough Office Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.

The 2022 Budget has been prepared using the same millage rates as 2021. The millage for general purposes is set at 1.85 mills, while the millage for fire services is set a .28 mills.
