Please note the following message from Penn Waste. This change is not a decision made by New Freedom Borough, but we will work with Penn Waste to ensure proper double collection on Friday, January 17:
“Due to the inclement weather, Penn Waste operations will be closed on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Customers scheduled for collection on this day will now receive double collection on their next regular Friday collection day. The safety of our dedicated crews is our highest priority.”
